You may apply for the GLDP but will be required to prove your right to work in the Asia Pacific country that you are applying to. Boston Scientific is only able to sponsor work visas for the training assignment in the U.S.
Healthcare industry-specific knowledge doesn't always guarantee a successful application to the GLDP. We are looking for people that have transferable skills and a strong learning agility as well as tenacity, bravery and imagination to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients around the world. Whatever your industry background, we are interested in people that are curious, thrive on ambiguity and love collaborating and working in a team to solve challenges.
We expect GLDP participants to go back to their home countries as part of the program scheme. If you would like to apply for the GLDP, you should be geographically mobile in the next 3-5 years and particularly committed to the Asia Pacific region and your home country.
GLDP participants should be prepared to complete the 3-year bespoken program. Whilst it is sometimes possible to work in a country other than your home country at one of your rotations, this is not the norm and entirely based on business needs and the discretion of the company.
GLDP is a prestigious leadership development program and a substantial investment is made in each management associate to achieve their highest potential with us. Intakes are small to ensure that our management associates receive the quality of training and support that we promise.
Roles will be a joint decision by key stakeholders involved in your bespoke development plan, taking into consideration the business requirements and opportunities available as well as your career aspirations and strengths.
You need to be comfortable with ambiguity, act with integrity, take personal accountability in everything that you do, drive your own performance as well as your professional development and build strong relationships in Boston Scientific.
